We understand that searching for information within your workspace has been a source of frustration for a while. Today, we’re excited to introduce Global Search, our most requested feature. Let’s dive right in!

To open the search popup, simply click the search button next to the workspace name in the left sidebar:

Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) to quickly access the search popup.

1. Filter search results by type.
2. Click to see recently viewed items.
3. Recent searches
4. Search filter toggle.

Pro Tip: Use the Up and Down arrow keys to navigate through search results. Press Esc to close the search popup.

To further refine your search results, use the search filter sidebar:

You can search for various item types, including:

1. Lists
2. Members
3. Filters
4. Tags
5. Tasks: Titles and descriptions
6. Docs: Full-text search
7. Files: File names and folder names.
8. Links: Titles and descriptions
9. Messages: Titles and content
10. Daily Notes: Full-text search.

Note:

• Please note that full-text search is exclusively available in the Premium plan. On the Free plan, you can search titles only.
• Search for Chat is still in progress and not available at the moment.
