Zapier integration, task full page layout, and more

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates in Upbase! Let’s dive into the new features and see how they can enhance your work management experience.

Zapier integration (public beta)

We’re excited to announce that Upbase now integrates with Zapier! This feature lets you connect Upbase with hundreds of your favorite apps, automating tasks and streamlining your workflow.

Currently, only the Actions section is available. We’re still working on the Triggers section, which will be released later. The integration is also in private mode and not yet listed in the public Zapier app directory. To start using it, go to Settings > Integrations > Zapier and click the “Connect” button.

Task full page layout

For tasks with a lot of information or if you want to focus on a single task, switch to the full-page layout.

Pro tip: Use the keyboard shortcut ‘Option + F’ (Mac) or ‘Alt + F’ (Windows) to toggle Full Page mode. Press ‘Esc’ to exit.

Hide checkboxes

You can now hide the task checkbox in any list. This is especially useful if you use Upbase tasks for other purposes, such as managing clients, a simple CRM, reading lists, cooking recipes, and more.

With the ability to hide checkboxes, hide default fields, add custom fields, and use the new full-page layout, you now have total flexibility to tailor your workflow to your specific needs.

New custom field type: URL

We’ve rolled out a new custom field type: URL. This feature allows you to effortlessly add and manage web links right within your Upbase tasks.

Other improvements

  • Subtasks are now included in the global filter pages.
  • Subtasks with due dates now appear on the “My Tasks – Tasks Created by Me” page.
  • Added an option to show completed tasks in Tag filter pages.
  • Changes to the “To Me” filter in the Daily Planner view are now autosaved.
  • Numerous bug fixes.

As always, feel free to reach out if you have questions or feedback.

Thank you for choosing Upbase. We truly appreciate your support.
