New in Upbase: New message layout; Callout and Table of contents for doc editor

We are thrilled to announce some new features and improvements to Upbase. Let’s dive in and discover the new possibilities!

New message layout

We’ve introduced a fresh way to view your messages – the list view.

The primary advantage of this new view is that it allows you to completely concentrate on one message at a time, eliminating clutter and distractions.

The great news is that we’ve made this new view optional. You can select your preferred view, either the new list view or the current sidebar view. Simply click the ellipsis icon and choose your favorite view.

Callout block for doc editor

A callout block in Upbase is a visual tool that highlights important information, making it stand out on your pages. This feature helps you emphasize key points, improving the overall clarity and visual appeal of your content.

To insert a callout block, use the /slash command and select “Callout.”

You can customize the background color and icon. Your choices will be automatically saved and applied to the next callout block you add to the page.

This block is available in Docs, Task descriptions, Link descriptions, Messages, Daily Notes, and Notepad.

Table of contents for Docs and Daily Notes

The table of contents block creates a navigational summary of your document’s sections or headings, which is especially useful when working with lengthy documents. It allows you to quickly locate and jump to specific parts of your content, enhancing accessibility and organization.

To insert a table of contents, simply use the /slash command and select “Table of contents.”

Note: Callout and table of contents are not yet available in the mobile app.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned for some exciting updates coming your way soon!
