New in Upbase: Templates for Docs, Daily Notes, Notepad, Messages, Task Descriptions, and Link Descriptions

We’re thrilled to bring you an exciting new feature that will greatly enhance your efficiency and productivity.

Introducing Templates!

The best part? You can create templates for all types of work, including Docs, Notepad and Daily Notes, Messages, Task Descriptions, and Link Descriptions.

It’s important to note that each user’s templates remain private and currently can’t be shared. Moreover, templates for different types of work are completely separate from each other.

How to create a new template.

Type ‘/’ to open the slash command menu. Select “Template” and then click the “Add Template” button.

In the Templates popup, enter your template’s name and content. You can also use the slash command to add rich formatting if needed. Once you’re satisfied with the content, hit the “Add” button to store your newly created template.

How to insert a template.

Inserting a template is just as simple. Use the / Slash command to insert a template into a new or existing Doc, Daily Note, Notepad, Message, Task description, or Link description.

Alternatively, you can simply type ‘::’ (double colons) to quickly open the template menu.

How to edit a template.

Open the template menu, locate the template you wish to modify, and click the “Preview” button. In the Template popup, click the “Edit” button make the necessary changes to your template content and click “Save” to save your modifications.

You can navigate to other templates and use the Edit button to edit them as well.

We hope this feature becomes a valuable addition to your workflow. If you have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Note: If you do not see the update, please log out of the app and then log in again.

P.S. We’re rolling out new features rapidly, but this can occasionally lead to bugs. If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Our plan is to continue introducing many more features at this accelerated pace over the next two months. Following that, we will slow down the pace of updates, concentrating on ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We understand that the app still has plenty of room for improvement. It’s currently missing several crucial features and may have occasional bugs. Be assured that we’re putting in tremendous effort to enhance it every day. However, being a small team of only six members, this process will take some time.

We want to extend our gratitude once again for choosing Upbase. Your support, patience, and understanding mean a lot to us.
