We’re thrilled to share with you some new features and improvements in Upbase. Let’s dive in!
1. Autosave view
“Autosave view” in Upbase is a feature that automatically preserves any changes or customizations made to a view, ensuring a seamless and personalized workflow experience.
For example, let’s say you’re on the “My tasks” page, and you choose to view “Tasks created by me” in the Board view and group tasks by priority. This customized view will be automatically saved. The next time you visit the “My tasks” page, you’ll find this exact view waiting for you.
The following view changes will be automatically saved:
- Tasks: List/Board view.
- Tasks: Group by (selected option).
- My Tasks: Tasks assigned to me/Tasks created by me; List/Board view; Group by (selected option).
- Latest opened docs and messages in a list.
- Files: Grid/List view; The hidden/visible stage of the comments section in the File details popup.
- Collapsed/Expanded stage of list folders, doc folders, bookmark groups, and tag groups.
Please note that view changes are saved independently for each member in the workspace.
2. Reply to chat messages
We are thrilled to empower you with the ability to respond directly to chat messages, keeping discussions organized and more efficient. Simply hover over a message and click the reply button.
Notes: This feature is only available in the web app. Replying to chat messages in the mobile app is in progress and will be released in the upcoming weeks.
3. Pin to Tray: Chat, Tags, and Members
In addition to the popular items in the last product updates, you now have the option to pin chat, tags, and members to the Tray for quick and convenient access.
4. Add attachments to Docs
We have added a new slash command item called “Attachment.” This enables you to add images or any files to the document editor, including Docs, Task descriptions, Notepad, and Daily Notes.
Please note that if you add an image, it will be displayed as a preview, while other file types will appear as a text link.
Last but not least, we’ve made some improvements to the UI of the web app to make it look even better.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned for some exciting product updates in the upcoming weeks.
