Timeline view
The Timeline view in Upbase helps you visually plan and track projects. Easily adjust schedules and keep your team aligned with a clear, intuitive layout.
Note: Task colors in the timeline view inherit the colors of the sections they belong to.
You can drag unscheduled tasks into the timeline to plan them:
Convert substasks to tasks
You can now easily convert subtasks into full tasks with just a click! This new feature helps you manage your projects more efficiently by giving you the flexibility to turn smaller tasks into standalone ones whenever needed.
Enhanced linking feature
We’ve added a “Recent” section beneath the search box in the “Related” modal, making it easier to add related items directly from your recently viewed list without having to search.
Improved task sharing capabilities with guests
We’ve made it easier to share tasks with guests by introducing a new option to make all newly created tasks visible to guests by default.
In lists with guests, you’ll see an “eye on/off” icon in the section header.
Simply toggle this option on, and all tasks you create in that section will automatically be shared with guests. This improvement saves you time by removing the need to share each task manually.
Please note that this option applies only when adding tasks using the “Add Task” button. It does not work for tasks added via email or moved from another section.

We’re thrilled to share that the Time Tracking feature is in the works and scheduled for release next month. Here’s a sneak peek at the designs we’ve been working on!
Improving existing features
Over the past months, we’ve added new features at a rapid pace. However, this has left some areas unpolished, with occasional bugs and performance issues. After launching the Time Tracking feature, we’ll shift our focus to refining existing features, ensuring they’re smooth, reliable, and optimized for the best experience.
That said, we have an exciting lineup of new features planned for the future. However, we’re committed to refining each feature before release to ensure it meets the high quality you deserve.
