The Pomodoro Technique was created to help you fight these problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This technique is a time management method developed in the late 1980s by university student Francesco Cirillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pomodoro Technique is scientifically proven to help people develop an effective relationship with time, complete multiple tasks efficiently, and boost their productivity with less anxiety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It uses Pomodoro timers to break down work into 25-minute chunks of work\/study time with five-minute short breaks in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After four pomodoros, take a longer break, typically 15 to 30 minutes, to stave off mental fatigue and promote sustained concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might now wonder, &#8220;Why is it called Pomodoro Technique?&#8221;. Keep reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Where did the Pomodoro Technique come from? How does the Pomodoro Technique work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cirillo wrote a 130-page book about the Pomodoro Technique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in brief, here are the six steps to how the Pomodoro technique works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare a timer and create a to-do list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a task, set a timer of 25 minutes, and focus on the task<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work on the task till the timer alerts you, then take a five-minute break<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat steps the third and fourth steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After four Pomodoros, take a 15- to 30-minute long break.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the long break is finished, return to step 2<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
