Team members and guests cannot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rate changes are forward-only. Past time entries keep their original rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time entries only count for profit calculations if they were logged while the task was inside a project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/help.upbase.io\/article\/81-profit-tracking\">Read the full setup guide \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"iuvnek\">\u23f1 Time Tracker button in the topbar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s now a clock icon in the topbar \u2014 click it to log time from anywhere in Upbase without navigating into a specific project or task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d36vdic3y07eu2.cloudfront.net\/file\/1774417416683930302\/CleanShot 2026-03-25 at 12\u202f.42.22@2x.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timer mode<\/strong> \u2014 search for a task, hit play. That&#8217;s it. The timer runs in the background while you work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manual mode<\/strong> \u2014 select a task, enter a duration (supports formats like 1h30m, 1:30, or 15 for minutes), set the date, add a note, and toggle billable on or off. Save entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bulk add<\/strong> \u2014 inside Manual mode, there&#8217;s a &#8220;Bulk add time entries&#8221; option that opens a full weekly matrix. Useful for anyone doing their timesheet catch-up at the end of the week \u2014 log multiple tasks across multiple days in one go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recent entries<\/strong> show up below both modes so you can see what you logged today and pick up where you left off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>P.S.
